Virginia Beach & Chesapeake so you could choose any of those 3 cities. I’d rule out Portsmouth. The tunnel traffic & tolls are a pain in the neck especially during rush hour. You should be able to easily find something in almost any price range in all of those cities within a 30 minutes commute give or take 15 due to rush hour traffic.
